Prayer is something that I need to work on in my life.
Maybe I'm the only one (fill in your own example), but all too often I will start praying...and then I look outside and see that my bushes need to be trimmed....and then all of a sudden I'm on Amazon...& two days later a new hedge trimmer is on my front porch! Anyone else like me with this?
A few years ago one of my friends & coaches, Ben Stewart, taught me this pattern of prayer called the Tabernacle Prayer that has helped me stay a bit more focused in my prayer life. In the book of Exodus, God gave Moses a pattern to build the initial tabernacle. This pattern God gave Moses can also serve as a picture and a powerful pattern for us on how to pray as well.
